Where is Mason?!?!

 under the highchair
 under the kitchen table
 on the stairs

In a bucket we keep blankets in
In the shoe closet

 In the laundry basket
under the table again

I cant tell you how many times I have said this, "Where is Mason?"  He is really starting to get a little personality. The other day I was looking for him and usually I know where his hiding spots are but this time I couldn't find him. I started to get really worried. I knew he wasn't in the basement because the door was closed and the doors were all closed up stairs so if he had gone up I'd see him. I was yelling his name and it was silent. Silent means he is doing "business" or in something he is not supposed to be. So I told the kids I cant find Mason help me look for him. For 2-3 min we searched my heart was racing and then I looked under the kitchen table and he was hiding under his highchair with his head looking straight up at the ceiling. I know he was thinking "I'm so funny" I could tell by the look on his face. He is a little stinker and he loves to hide in the funniest places. So glad we found him!

School starts again!

 3rd grade
 1rst Grade
Oh Lulu got her hair cut and she looks so grown up! She is 4
Mason 19mths

Well its hard to believe that another year is starting! I still feel like it was not that long ago I was getting Karlee ready for Kindergarden and now she is in 3rd grade. I think I wrote this same statement last year. Its so crazy how fast the time goes. Last year was crazy Karlee left for school at 8:10 then I had to get Rodney to the bus at 12 then I had to go get them both at 2:55 and sit and wait until 3:25 when they got out. I felt like Emily, Mason and I were a taxi service. It will be weird to have most of the day with only 2kids home. I'm excited for Rodney to learn Spanish but I know that it will be weird having him gone all day. Emily is already saying she is bored and what are we doing next. She missed going to school by 1 month so I know this next yr will be hard for her. She is so ready to go to the Big School :)

Random kid stuff

This has been a super busy summer. Emily has been growing so much, she wants to wear Karlee's clothes, p.j's, and shoes. She wants to go to the Big school so much. Since her bday is in Oct she has to wait another year to start. She has been trying to learn to read and loves doing "homework." She wants to be just as big as her big sister Karlee.

Karlee has also had a busy summer. She had a biopsy done on her tummy, we found out that she is lactose intolerant. She also had to have her top of her lip cut, got her ears pierced and had to say goodbye to her best friend that moved away. This girl needs some good news!

Mason is busy like always, getting into everything and Rodney is excited to start 1rst grade and learn Spanish. Even though he tells everyone he is going in to 2nd grade. Hahaha

Karlee's procedure

                                                           Before the procedure

Going home, she loved being in the wheelchair, she thought that was really fun.

Today Karlee had to have a Esophagogastroduodensocopy with Biopsy. Its a scope going down her throat to her tummy to look around and get some pictures. Her stomach has been hurting since we moved here last April. We have found that having her eats no soy helps but we are not exactly sure what is causing the pain. The Dr did say that she doesn't have an ulcer, thats good. They are checking for different food issues and celiac disease. They also are running some blood test. I'm really hoping they figure it out soon!

Matt does Runner Cross

I'm so proud of my husband! He has lost a little over 100lbs and he decided to do this 15k with 2 of his friends. It was a relay so they each ended up going about 3miles each, but when its through the mud, jumping over fire, climbing up hills, monkey bars, rope swing over a mud pit and going under barbwire its super hard! There time was 2hrs and 44min. I was so proud of them and the kids loved cheering for there dad!!!

Happy 4rth of July

Well we had our first BBQ in our backyard. It was so fun! We invited the Stokers and the missionaries. It was so fun to see Matt at the grill while the kids ran around with there cousins. We had yummy treats and a fun 4rth of July cake. The missionaries had to go to a meeting, to bad they had to leave before we cut into the cake.

Karlee

Here are a few pictures of Karlee. She loved 2nd grade. Her teacher was the best! When she got in the car she started to cry and I asked her what was wrong and she told me she was going to miss her teacher, later she said and my friends too. But it made me so happy that she loved her teacher so much, I never had to worry if she was being treated well because I knew her teacher really did love her. She earned a High Flying Hawk Award which is the highest achievement you can get, she got all A's. We are so proud of her! It seems like last month I was taking her to Kindergarten and now in 3wks she will be in 3rd grade, my baby is going to be in 3rd Grade!!!
