Fun Day with cousin Whitney

It was so much fun to watch cousin Whitney. I love that Emily is only 3 wks older that her cousin. I know that they will be best friends, they already are. Emily was giving Whit tons of rides on the Tonka truck and all the kids had fun singing to her. We love you Whitney!

Logan Trip

Last week we went up to Logan for the weekend. I felt bad cuz I had told the kids we would swim in Grandmas backyard but it was way too cold and rained a ton so we it was nice enough we took them to a new park. I had never seen this one before and the kids loved it.

So Pretty!

Emily is getting so Big and she is absolutely adorable. She is getting very girlie just like her big sister Karlee. She wants to wear dresses, her church shoes, sandals over her footie pajamas :) and she wants us to sing, "Sunbeam" all the time. Well she got a hold of one of Karlees chap sticks and came and said to me "pretty" Yes Emily you are very pretty. I love you sweetie!

Real Soccer Game

So part of signing up the kids for soccer meant we got 4 free tickets to a Real Salt Lake Soccer Game (and Emily was free)!!!! We have never been to one before and it was a ton of fun! I was pleasantly surprised how well the kids did and since we got our tickets so early we were in Row 18 center field, the seats were amazing, the game lasted for 2 and 1/2 hrs and it was a beautiful day. It was so fun to get to do that as a family!

I love spending time with my family, that is my favorite thing to do! You can see in this picture they cut about 5inches instead of 2! I think she looks cute but she is still mad about it.

Mothers Day 2009

Thank goodness I have an amazing husband who babied me all day. I am so grateful for how much he loves me. When I was getting ready Matt said lets just throw on some P.J.'s and go wake up the kids. I had a vase full of flowers from our tree outside that I have really been enjoying how beautiful they were and how good they smelled. I love flowers. Then we got up the kids and they really wanted me to open 1 present before church so I did and I was so surprised that they had bought me a new dress. It is so beautiful!!! Then we went to our church and Grandma and Papa Bro, Kirsten, and Tom and Jentry all came to watch Karlee sing 2 songs for Mothers Day with the primary. It was so sweet. Then in our ward all the men took over the womens callings so we could go to Sunday school and Relief Society. It was so great!

Then we came home Nate and Julie joined us. Matt and the kids got me Bride Wars and Twilight plus a card that sung a Celine Dion song. Matt doesn't like Twilight or Celine Dion so I knew he really really loved me :) Brownie points for him. Matt and his dad made shake and bake chicken, broccoli and cauliflower, mashed potatoes, rolls, and cake. It was a wonderful mothers day. I feel so blessed to have 3 beautiful and healthy children and an amazing husband who loves me unconditionally. I hope he always knows thats how much I love him too.

Final Score 2-1!

Well soccer was a ton of fun as usual. Karlees friend Jenasi scored a point and then so did Karlee! She is really enjoying soccer. Rodney was doing an amazing job of playing with one of the boys on the other team, they were throwing grass at each other, I felt it was a great strategy to distract the other team :) I love my cute kids. Our coach Candice was playing in her own soccer game so Coach Cory (her hubby) had to step in. He did great. It was fun!

Kids Haircuts

Well I took the kids to our favorite place to get there haircuts, Cookie Cutters. They love to go down the slide and play the video games while they wait for each other. This is the first time Rodney didnt scream I was soooooo happy! The lady said its because he is 3 yrs old and he is a big boy. I was so proud of him! Rodney needed a haircut really bad, Emily her bangs and Karlee needed a good trim. Well they ended up chopping off a ton of Karlees hair and neither of us realized how much cuz of course they do it all fancy. When I took it out to wash it she was soooo upset. I told her she still looked pretty but she is really mad that they cut it so short. I know its just hair and it will grow back but honestly I was a little bugged myself. We had talked about her growing out her hair really long and cutting it to her shoulders to donate it, so I guess the process will just take longer, but she is still mad about it. Sorry Karlee!

Quick Question

Does anyone know how to change your blog so that on your list of friends you keep up with, it updates when they update there page that way you dont have to check 50 times before they update?? Let me know if you know, thanks!

P.S I do not claim to be the Queen of blogging at all, but I have found a little way to make leaving comments easier. If you go under your Settings, then Comments, then look for comment form Placement and change it to Pop up window not Full Page it is a lot easier for people to leave you comments they dont have to back out so many times from that page. Matts going to Die!

I put a countdown to The New Moon movie on our blog, and Matt is going to die when he sees it! He is not on Team Edward at all. I have to admit it took a lot of peer pressure and time for me to give in and watching the movie before I finally decided to read the books but now I want to thank all those who pushed me into it Andra, Kirsten, Candice, Katie, and many others :) I'm about 200 pages into the last book and I'm dying to find out the end. Don't tell me.
