Karlee Finally rides her bike!!!

Karlee learns to ride her bike!

There are definitely things that Matt is a lot better at and things that I am a lot better at. Matt has more patience with teaching Karlee how to ride her bike so he has been taking her out and trying to teach her. She is so afraid of wrecking on her bike that she wont do it. Today I lost my patience and told her this was getting ridiculous and that she needed to ride her bike. I tried bribing her and finally I said you need to get on it and ride it and stop putting your feet down. I told her later I was sorry for not having more patience and Matt reminded me that she hasn't got to practice as other kids her age and he is right. But he took her out today and she finally did it! I know with Karlees personality you have to push her (pretty hard) to get her out of her comfort zone. But when she does it she is always happy. I'm so proud of her. I cant help but think I helped a little. :)

Funny Friday

Rodney has been asking me the last week if we could have homemade bread and homemade jam. We have the jam but I haven't made any bread in awhile. So once I got Mason down for a morning nap I thought it would be fun for Rodney, Emily and I to make some. I called them and asked them if they wanted to help me make bread. This is the conversation that followed.

Rodney: Ya!
Emily: Can I wear your bra?
Me: What?!?!
Emily: (goes and grabs an apron) and says again, "Can I wear your bra?"
Me:Bwhhahahahahaha honey its called an apron not a bra!

I laughed sooooo hard. I love my kids so much they are so much fun. We made craisin bread, homemade wheat rolls and cinnamon rolls. And we made them in our aprons not our bras! :)

Baby Mason is 6 months old!

Wow I can't believe that my little baby Mason is already 6mths old. I was thinking, Gosh if this 6mth went by this fast then the next will go by even faster! Then I will have Rodney in school, Mason will be 1, Karlee will be baptized and Matt will be 1 yr away from Graduating! My family is changing and growing up so fast. I keep telling them to slow down but noone is listening hahaha

Mason is 18.41lbs which is in the 66% Also he is 27.56 inches long which is in the 85%. He wears a size 12-18mths (at only 6mths old). He has acid reflux so they have changed his formula and put him on prevacid. He started that about 2 weeks ago. It has been a livesaver! He was spitting up/barfing so bad that I had to change my clothes 2-3times a day.

He was a great sleeper when he slept in our bed but adjusting to the crib was extrememly hard. He would scream for over an hour at 2 different times in the night. Usually from about 2-3:15 and then again at 5-6 it was really bad for over a month. I was about to loose it, I said a prayer that I couldnt deal with the screaming and that I needed help. It wasnt just crying it was like someone ripped off his toenail kind of screaming. It woke up everyone in the whole house and everyone was grumpy. So I was so greatful that this prayer was answered. He got on new formula, meds, started rice and baby food, got a pillow, we untucked his arms from the blanket and we made the house really cold at night and it worked!

Mason is such a wonderful baby, yes even after all that I still think he is so wonderful. He has the biggest bluest eyes. He has a TON of hair that everyone always wants to touch. He is really quite bashful. He will smile and then look away. He is really quite. He loves to watch his siblings. He just said Hi today, when Matt came in the door from work he looked at him and said Hi. It was so sweet! He can roll from one side of the room to the other. He really wants to crawl, but not yet. He is a Huge blessing to our family. Mason Happy half bday we love you!

How can you ever say No to me?

So handsome

Are you guys done yet???

Look at that sweet smile

Huh?????

Ohhhhh I love him so much. He makes me so Happy! How could you not love that little face!

Chloe & the Great Fish

On Saturday June 11Th Chloe & the Great Fish aka Jonah & the Great Fish. (They may change the name) played at the historic Peery Egyptian Theatre in Ogden. It has been playing at different Christian Film Festivals. It was fun to go watch it on the BIG screen. Matt said he was surprised to see how much screen time Karlee had, that was really a great treat. She worked really hard on this movie and it was Amazing to see how much she had grown in a year and a half. It was fun to have Grandma and Papa Bro and Kirsten come see it as well. The movie is so Good I cant wait for it to be released to buy.

After it played they had the cast that was there come on stage for Q & A.

Karlee and her favorite person in the world Jason

Matt took this picture of Grandma and Papa and the girls. I love it, its so cute!

I cant believe how fast the kids are growing up. I sure love them!

My silly kids! Karlee we are sure proud of you! You are already a star in our family!

We love Matt

So today was a "free fishing day." Matt took Karlee and Rodney and they went fishing. They didn't catch anything but there names were entered into a drawing and Rodney won a free tackle box so he was really excited.

My Amazing husband has lost 70lbs. I am sooooo proud of him. He has a goal to loose 100lbs in one year. He has motivated so many people to start exercising and I am so proud of him. I love that he has so much more energy. He loves to go out and play catch with Rodney, which Rodney loves. He has been sleeping so much better. I know its hard for him to get up at 4:45am and work out 6days a week while working full time and going to school full time. But I'm so glad he does because I am in mad crazy love with him and I want him to be healthy so he is around for along time! I have been trying out some new healthy recipes and it has been really fun. This is a Chicken BBQ Wrap that I made (thanks Andra) and it was a Huge hit!

Then for Fathers Day I made Healthy Stir Fry and I added grilled chicken but I took the picture before I threw that on top, sorry. But it was so yummy! We also made eggs, hash brown, watermelon and OJ for Matt for breakfast. We gave him a G.C to go get his face shaved the old fashion way with the long blade razor. Its something he has always wanted to try and its supposed to include a hot towel and face massage. Should be really relaxing!

Yummy!
