Mason's Blessing

January 16, 2011 Matt blessed Mason. I was so happy that my dad could make it up! This was the first time he was able to come up for the blessing of one of my kids and it really meant a lot to me. Matt, my Dad, Uncle Adam, Uncle Matt, Papa Bro, Uncle Tom and the Bishopric all were there to bless him. It was a beautiful blessing.

Afterwards our family and our close friends the Dalton's came over and we ate some yummy food. It was a beautiful day and I was so grateful that my parents were able to make it. I meant to get a family picture and then some with my parents and Mason and Matts parents and Mason but I had mastitis and was in a lot of pain so I forgot to do it.

My Dad, Mason and Karlee

My amazing friend Jean

Little Karlee and her baby brother

I love him!

Sorry some of the pictures are sideways I couldn't get it to turn.

I loved his blessing outfit it was so soft and warm.
This blanket was made for him by my friend April, isn't it amazing!

I think he is going to have blue eyes like his mama!

My little Sunbeam

Wow my little angel is growing up! Jan 2ND she officially moved out of nursery into Sunbeams. She has been my baby for the last 3yrs and now she is a big sister! I love her so much. She is so funny. She is very independent but since she became a Big Sister she has wanted mama a lot more so I have really enjoyed that. She was so excited to go with the big kids. I was sad that I couldn't see her go into her class, I was at home with the baby, but Matt said she ran right in and was so happy!
Emily is so smart she can count to 20, knows her ABC's and recognizes each letter, she can spell Mom, Dad, Karlee, Rodney, Emily, purple, red, she loves to dance and sing. She loves to make up songs like "I like to believe in myself." When she said the prayer the other day she said, "please help me to go to dance and for mom to make milk for Mason." It was so sweet and funny. She is so much fun to have in our family. Emily I love you!

Snow Day!

Matt had promised the kids as soon as it snowed that he would take them out and go sledding. Well when he was home for 2wks in December it snowed and they were so excited. Some of these pictures are from that day and some are from there friend Ashlyns Birthday party. They sure had fun, thanks daddy!
Karlee's baby snowman and before she lost her 2 teeth.

My handsome little guy!

Fun sledding
The kids reminded me of The Christmas Story, when the little boy couldn't put his arms down. They said mom we are sweating but I assured them it was only 14* outside they wanted to bundle up!

There gone!

OK so I'm not going to blog every time the kids loose a tooth but this was a Huge deal! A few months ago, yes I said Months. Karlee was trying to open some toy with her teeth and she knocked her top 2 teeth loose. They were bleeding and bruised and ever since they have hurt her. When her other 3 were loose she loved to wiggle them and have me try and pull them out. But she would never let me touch these 2.
Sunday I decided they were coming out. She was having problems eating and one looked like it was pushed forward it was getting sick! So she cried but I pulled it out and she was so happy. Then the next day I noticed her other tooth was hanging by one side. So it was coming out too. She would not let me touch it but she couldn't get it out. I said I get 2 tries and if I get it we are going out to ice cream this week. I got it on the second pull. It was bleeding pretty bad but she said it felt a ton better! Wahoo they are finally gone and a new one was already growing in in its place! The tooth fairy was busy this week, but she usually gets 1 dollar per tooth and she must of felt bad that these hurt her so bad cuz she got 2 dollars per tooth this time :)

Major Updates!

Ok, I stopped counting but I think there are 9-10 new posts so make sure you check them all out. I am officially caught up for 2010! This year was so long in some ways and went by way too fast in others. I can't believe how fast my kids are growing up. I want to bottle them up and make this time last longer. I know some moms cant wait for there kids to grow up but I love having them be little. My kids are such a blessing to me and make me so happy. I love being a mom and feel so blessed to be one.

I also have the best husband in the world. He is so kind, loving and patient with me. I truly feel like I married my best friend. He is my perfect match. I know there was a ton of crying on my part in 2010 and I know that 2011 is going to be a great year. Here's to enjoying every minute and being better at blogging so I never forget the little things :)

Mason 11 days old

So I fell in love with a little Blondie boy! Oh my gosh he is so sweet. I love my baby Mason so much. I love these pictures Matt took of him they are adorable! Thanks honey for capturing our baby. I will always cherish these pictures! Oh and the picture of him wearing the new brother hat was a Christmas present from Karlee, I thought that was so sweet!

Bringing him home

Us bringing the little man home. I was retaining so much water! My feet looked like they weighed 20lbs each. The Dr sent me home with a dieretic and then I had to put my feet up, it took about a week and a half to go away. It looked like if you touched them they would pop! Thankgoodness that is gone! Mason looks so cute!
