Christmas Cookie Exchange

My sister is so amazing she is Due the Beginning of January and she had 3 party's in 1 week she is Super Woman! We all had to bring a 14 cookies with the recipe on 14 cards and we came home with 14 different cookies with the different recipes. It was so much fun!

Merry Christmas!

I just wanted to take a minute and wish everyone a very Merry Christmas! I am so grateful for my beautiful family and wonderful friends. I am so grateful for the Savior and his birth and this special time of year when we celebrate it. I hope my kids will enjoy the yummy treats, fun toys but most of all the feelings they felt and I pray that they feel those special feelings and love for there Savior all year long.

We are going to be in Logan for Christmas and I am hoping to get caught up on my blogging I am very behind :(

Karlee tuns 6!

Wow my baby is 6!!!! I cant believe how fast she is growing up! Well she wanted to have a 3 Musketeers Barbie Birthday so thats what we did. Of course all of her friends had to have there dress ups on:) It was a fun party. It was nice to meet some of her little friends from school that I had heard about but not met yet. What a fun day with pizza, cake, mask, swords and a Barbie movie!

Thanksgiving 2009

We went up to Logan for Thanksgiving. I love Logan! We always have so much fun up there the only thing bad that happened was that we forgot to give Emily some medicine and she got car sick and barfed on Thanksgiving and didn't eat very much but other than that it was a great time. Karlee and Rodney were both brave enough to try pumpkin pie which Karlee helped make and they loved it.

We played sharades and Karlee and Rodney came up with getting married, it was so cute!

We celebrated Karlees Birthday while we were up there and we even went out to pizza and they made her a special cookie with ice cream on it and we all sang to her. She also wanted cheese cake and she made sure to tell me, "not that stuff in the box, homemade. She is a smart girl:) She had a great birthday thank you to all of her amazing aunts, uncles, cousins and Grandma and Papa Bro! We sure love you Karlee Pants!

Happy Birthday Karlee

Matt thinks this is weird but when the kids have there birthdays I get kinda blue :( I know its great that there growing up and learning and more independent and blah blah blah. But it just means they are not needing me as much anymore and they are not my babies anymore and so it makes me sad. I wish so badly I could bottle up 0-3 and make it last longer. Some moms love it when there kids are older but I have always loved babies I love snuggling them and how yummy they smell. I wish my little Karlee pants would stay a baby longer.

Karlee you are an amazing daughter. You are sensitive, loving, nurturing, kind, outgoing, funny, friendly, you have a tender heart and so many more wonderful thing about you that I love so much. When daddy and I got married the Dr said the chances of me having any kids was slim to none. It took us forever to get pregnant with you and when I was I thought that we lost you and that day killed me. I was so lucky to find out I only had a blood clot and that you would be ok. Daddy gave me the most amazing blessing and often I had to remind myself of Gods promise to me that you would be born "whole."

We love you so much! We are so happy that you are in our family. Thank you for being so helpful with your little brother, sister, and your mom. You are an amazing daughter! I will post more pictures of her birthday after her party on Saturday. Cant believe she is 6!!!
