I need a Vacation

This month has really been hard. I was so excited for summer to start and so far its been really rough. At the beginning of the month Mason got an ear infection and Karlee got strep throat. Well Masons ear infection never went away, which means a lot of screaming in the night. So now he is on his second round of antibiotics. Rodney has had a cough for about 2 weeks its not terrible just annoying to him. Last Friday I had been sick for a week. My head and ears had been hurting so bad. Mason and I both were coughing so in the morning I took him into the Dr they said he has bronchiolitis again and that he cant have his surgery next week. He also has to do at home breathing treatements. We had his surgety all planned Matt has off of work and Grandma Bro was coming up to watch the kids. So now he will have it in Sept when the 2 kids are in school.

Mason getting a breathing treatment

OK so then I went into the Dr that night and found out that I had an ear infection and strep throat. I have never had either one let alone both. Over the weekend I seriously felt like dying. I cried so much, so did Mason. I felt horrible! By Sunday Matt joined the club and got a virus so he cant really help. So here I am sick trying to take care of everyone. Then yesterday I told Matt that I felt like I was going to pass out. My head was still killing me and the only thing that was gone was my cough. But every time I got up I had a bad head rush and felt really lightheaded.

Matt stayed home with everyone and I took Rodney to soccer, it was picture day so someone had to take him. Rodney did AWESOME! The score was 5-1. Rodney scored it was so fun to see him so proud of himself. Right after I decided I couldn't take it anymore. I went to Insta Care and told them I have been on antibiotics for 6 days and I felt horrible. The Dr said that I had some sinus stuff going on and that I was really dehydrated. So after 4times of getting poked with a needle they finally got an IV in me and I had to get rehydrated, Ibuprofen and some antibiotics.

This is not the way I wanted to spend our summer. I feel a little better than I did but I still don't feel good. She told me today and tomorrow to drink a ton or I'd end up back in the hospital. I was there until 11pm. She even said that I needed to take more time for me and take better care of myself. I couldn't help but laugh. I have a husband who works full time and goes to school full time. I know it will be worth it when he is done but a lot of times I feel like a single mom of 4. I was definitely running on empty though. I don't understand why its taking me so long to get better. I asked Matt if it was because Im now in my 30's he laughed and said No. So if you could remember me and my family in your prayers that would be so appreciated. Thanks! Oh, and thanks Andra for coming to get Rodney I really appreciated that too!

Emily gets to play soccer!

Emily was so excited to start soccer! Last year she was still too little to play and she cried a lot on the side lines watching her big brother and sister play. So this year she was finally 3 and able to play. Monday is her day to play. I told her after your game you will get a snack if you tried really hard. She was really excited about her snack. I explained that on Mondays Em would get a snack, Tue. Karlee would get a snack and Wed. Rodney would get a snack. That way there wouldn't be any fighting.

Well the last half of the game the weather changed and it got really windy and I knew it was going to rain so I ran with Mason, Karlee and Rodney to the car while Matt finished watching her game and then it poured! Well since it rained so hard there was No snacks given out. She was Devastated! She said, "I played so good." So we went to the store and let her pick out a snack, she got a push pop and the world was good again. :)

Lulu giving us the double thumbs up. Grandma B said she loved that she was in between 2 boys hahaha

Go Emily!

It was so fun to watch her play

In the middle of the game she ran over to me and yelled, "your so pretty." She is such a funny girl!
This picture of her is Gorgeous! I love her so much. She is so funny, sassy, and a joy to have in our family. She seriously is hilarious. I love having her for my daughter. Emily I'm so glad that you get to play soccer this year!

Can you handle the Kitchen Sink?

While we were in Logan we met up with Adam and his family. We went to Angie's and got the Kitchen Sink for the kids. It was fun for the cousins to dig into that monster ice cream. I love my brother so much he has the cutest little family. It was so fun to see them.

They were so excited when it was being brought out

This picture of the girls is so cute

Oh, yeah!

And Adam cleaned it up! Hahahaha

Happy 4rth of July

We went up to Logan for the 4rth of July it was so much fun. Before we left my cute sister gave my kids some poppers that said Oh, Snap on them and a ring pop that said let freedom ring. It was so cute, thanks Andra the kids loved it!

While in Logan we watched the fire works, the boys went to the car show, Grandma and Karlee made necklaces, I did a cartwheel and the kids had a water fight. Its always fun to go up there. I was a little worried about going because Mason had another ear infection but he did really good. I made strawberry pancakes which where so gross, Carmel brownies which tasted like cake and not brownies and we made homemade ice cream that had a little too much vanilla in it and then my 4rth of July cookies didn't turn out as cute as the picture so I felt like I was OFF for baking for that weekend that was not normal, bummer.

I don't know what Karlee and Papa were thinking??

Schools out for the summer!

Well July 1rst was Karlees last day of 1rst grade. I cant believe that she is going to be going into 2ND Grade! The last week of school was super busy. There was a teddy bear picnic, a dance festival, award assembly, and a class party. She got a metal which was really fun for her to get. She earned an award for "The Best at Coloring" which her dad was especially proud of her for. She had also won the Art Guild Award at her old school. Her teacher was really nice and sent all the kids home with a gift, it was play dough, a c.d of a bunch of class photos, and a ball to play with in the water.

The dance festival was fun and sad. Right when we got there we were all moved to the other end of the field. We quickly found out that a little boy had been hit and life flight had to come and take him to Primary Childrens. A lot of people were crying, including me. The reason I even bring this up is that we all need to be so careful an accident could happen in a second. I could of been the driver it could of been my son. We just need to be so careful! I hold on to my kiddos a lot tighter since that day. If anything ever happened to one of my angels it would break me. I love my kids so much. I am so proud of all of them and this day I was especially proud of Karlee.
