Happy Birthday Matt

Happy Birthday honey and you are my 100 th post, that is so awesome! I have the best husband in the whole world (maybe I am biased) I am so glad that he was born and that his parents are so great that they helped him to become the man I fell in love with. He was born to Dan and Susan on February 27 1977. He is the first born and his parents waited years for him. When he was born they had a hard time deciding what to name him. Matt's Mom and Dad had thought of the names Quincy and Daniel but neither seemed right then when his Dad was resting at home he thought of the name Matthew and looked it up and it ment "gift from God" and he truly was a gift from God. Happy Birthday sweetie! We sure love you!

OUCH!

Remember when I was doing that really crazy adventurous thing. I'm talking about that extreme thing I was doing when I jammed my pinkie. You know its black and blue and it hurts so bad I almost cried when I picked up my purse. Well its called doing the dishes!!!! Yes you heard me, I didn't even realize how wild things could get when you are doing the dishes.

Happy Valentines Day

I love Valentines Day! I love my hubby so much. He got me these beautiful Tulips and chocolate covered strawberries. He has always been so romantic and I love that. I feel bad I didn't get a photo of the 2 of us! I love you Matt!

Boys will be boys

Saturday night Matt came out of the bathroom and had shaved the bottom of his goatee having the handle bar mustache for The Monster truck show and when Jason and his son Raydin came over Jason had done the same thing and Raydin had a Mohawk. They had the best time! I am so glad that they were able to have a boys night out!

The Kids get a haircut and mail!

Today was a fun day. I took the kids to get there haircuts. I love to go to Cookie Cutters. They have games and slides for the kids while they are waiting, it is just really nice especially when all 3 need a haircut. Well Karlees hair is so pretty but when it gets too long she cries every time I brush it so she was overdue for a haircut. As you can tell from the pictures of Rodneys hair he definitely needed a haircut. He is just so scared I wait as long as possible and Emily just got her bangs trimmed. For now I am going with bangs and we will see if we will grow them out later. Karlee had bangs as a baby and I thought they were so cute.

Then when we got home we saw that each one of the kids had an envelope in the mail. It was a Valentine Card from there Grandma and Papa Bro and they each got a dollar. They were so excited. Thank you Grandma and Papa Bro for being amazing grandparents. The kids sure love you and feel loved as well.

Girls Nite out

Well every year my sister has a girls only Valentines Party. It is always a blast and something that I look forward to every year. We bring 14 of the same Valentines gifts and then we trade coming home with 14 different presents. It is so much fun and I love going and laughing with friends. My sister is an amazing party planner and she had the yummiest treats. Thanks Andra for being such an amazing sister I sure love you! I just have to add that Kirsten was feeling bad that Candice and I were so much taller than her that we got down on our knees. It was so funny. Thanks Kirsten for being a good sport!

Totally Busted

So on Wednesdays Karlee has dance class. It was so nice because Matt was able to get off of work and Rodney and Emily were able to keep napping and I could take Karlee and actually watch her dance. After class her teacher and one of the other girls gave out treats. I cant believe I spaced that, I always do stuff like that, o'well. But when we got home she was so sweet and asked her dad what he would like and gave it to him then she asked her brother what he wanted and gave it to him. Then before she had a chance to ask me I said "I want chocolate!" In which she replied "mom you get what you get and you don't throw a fit." My jaw dropped I was speechless. Matt was almost crying he was laughing so hard. I told her that she had let the boys pick so I thought I would get to pick what I wanted. She told me to stop throwing a fit. I said I was sorry and she was right we get what we get and we don't throw a fit. She then handed me a hard Valentines heart, not chocolate.

Our Week

Well last Saturday was my little nephew Bentleys birthday! He is 3 yrs old! I love that Rodney and Bentley are only 3 mths apart. I hope as they continue to grow older they will be best buddies! We had a ton of fun at his Carz Birthday party. Happy Birthday buddy we sure love you!

When we got home our house stunk we figured out the fridge had broke and all the food had gone bad, it was really warm in there. Thank goodness that we live in an apt. and that we got a new one the next day. Sunday Matt stayed home with Emily since she still had a cold and he was waiting for the new fridge. We enjoyed watching the Superbowl together as a family. Karlee kept saying this is the best Superbowl party ever. Its actually the first time we have watched it with the kids. All day Emmalous was pulling on her ears. So Monday I took her into the Dr. they said she has an ear infection and RSV. They said she probably had it the last 2 wks so in another wk or 2 she should be fine. I cried all the way home. I was like I have been in the house for 2 wks with sick kids and now 2 more to go ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! I need a break.

Matts sister is so amazing! I love her so much. She has been such a huge blessing to our little family. She helps us so much with the kids and one time when I was barfing my guts out and pregnant with Emily she came to our house at 2 am so I could go to the emergency room. My point is she is freaking awesome. Well she told Matt he was babysitting and she was going to take me out on a date. We went and got Rumbi Grill, my favorite:) and then got caramel apples and went and saw Bride Wars. I was so glad that there were only 2 other girls in there cuz I laughed so hard and so loud plus we cried. It is the best chick flick in the world. I love you Kirsten thank you for being such a great friend to me. I felt so much better so now I can make it for 2 more wks.

Wednesday was Lost and Matt and I love that show and Emily climbed up on Rodneys queen size bed and was jumping. She is seriously a monkey.It is so funny to see your kids have there different personality's. She is defiantly more adventurous than the other 2 and she love to try to climb up everything, even into the bathtub! I love that crazy monkey!
