Soccer Game

The final score was 10-0! We won! Karlee scored 6 goals, she had so much fun. I don't know why the other coach didn't want to play with a goalie but I bet he regretted that decision later :) The last quarter I told Karlee to stay back by our goalie just so the other kids would get to play more, the other team never made it down to our side of the field so she was taking a break. Rodney ran so much that shortly after we got home and ate dinner he asked to go to bed! That was great he never does that! I love watching the kids play soccer its so much fun. Emily really wanted to get out there and play too:)

Happy Birthday Rodney!!

I cant believe that my little boy is 3! He is such a fun and sweet little boy. We had a really fun day with a soccer game, then pancakes, watermelon, OJ, and Chocolate Milk. (Speed Racer loves that kind of breakfast.) Then we had cake and presents. Rodney got a tool box, watch, Book of Mormon, Fire Hat, 2 awesome cars, squirt gun, pool floaty, chutes and ladders, 2 dog books, summer clothes, swim trunks, airplane, Bolt the movie, coloring book, bubbles, and something to color in the bath. He has had so much fun with all of his gifts thank you so much to our family for supporting our children. We sure love ya!

After everyone left he fell asleep holding one of his cars. Matt took a really cute picture of him sleeping! We sure love you Rodney!

Final Score 2-2

The kids had there first soccer game on Rodneys birthday! They let him kick off since he was the birthday boy and he and Karlee loved playing. For awhile Karlee was the goalie. This is there first time playing sports and for that I was extra proud of them. Karlee fell down and got right back up and kept running which was HUGE for her. Rodney came over to the side lines a few times to tell me he didn't have the ball and I had to remind him to keep running after it. But the proudest moment was that the score was 2 to 2 with my kids being the 2 to score the points!!! Yes Rodney and Karlee both scored. We would of won but one of our girls scored for the wrong team. It was funny. I will have to keep myself in check the competitive person in me was getting excited so I need to remember its just for fun and win or lose its important they have fun. But winning is fun too:)

My baby boy is 3!

Rodney Matthew Broschinsky was born on April 25, 2006! He was born at 8:37 a.m and was 9 lbs 3 oz. They said that he was 20.5 inches but when we went in for his 2 wk check up they measured him twice and said he was 23 in and that the Hospital must of messed up because there was no way he grew that much in 2 weeks.

Rodney you are the sweetest boy I have ever known. You are such a blessing to our family. I am so proud of you and proud to be your mom. You have brought your dad, sisters and me so much joy. You are getting so BIG and strong. I love how much you say "I love you" to all of us. I hope you always remember how much we love you. I love your BIG brown eyes, your sweet little voice and how much you love to snuggle.

Rodneys first Easter outfit, what a stud!

Happy Easter 2009

I love my kids but trying to get them all to smile for an Easter photo was really hard! As you can see Emily would rather lay on her tummy or run off. Karlee is doing her modeling poses and Rodney well lets just say he would rather be spider man than worry about silly photos:)

We had an awesome Easter this was the first year that we didn't go up to Logan and I felt the pressure to make sure we had a great meal and also fun memories for the kids. We had just had ham and beans a few days earlier so I made a roast, mashed potatoes, corn, rolls, hard boiled eggs that the kids decorated and homemade carrot cake. The kids loved the festive table!

The girls of course matched and you can tell the pictures inside the house were before church cuz after church Emilys hair was pretty crazy! She is 18 mths today (well on Easter)! She has been going to the nursery the last couple of weeks and loves to be in there with her BIG brother!

I love my kids so much. I hope one day they will look back at all of these pictures and have great memories of there childhood and know how hard I tried to show them I loved them and how much fun we had even though we didn't have a ton of things. I am so grateful for Easter. I love the Savior so much. I am so grateful to have an amazing husband who loves me and is a great father. I feel so blessed to have 3 beautiful children that I adore!

The kids colored eggs with Dad while I cooked and I will be the first to admit I am not good at piping cakes so it may not look to fancy but it tasted so good!

Cute Kids

I love these pictures! One day it was so cold I put Emily in her blanket and she found her hat, it was so funny I had to take a picture. Rodney thought hey I will take a picture of you too! Karlee loves to sleep with her princess beauty mask and I love that Emilys hair can get super curly.

Tree House

Matt had off 4 days from work a week ago and we went and stayed in Logan and we took the kids to a place called The Tree House in Ogden. They had so much fun. They went to Germany, Japan and ate with chopsticks, became Dr.'s and Dentist, they went to school and had to wear the Dunce hats, we read books, they were Queens and a King. It was so much fun!

Easter Egg Hunt

My awesome sister has started a tradition where we go to her house and have an Easter egg hunt. It is so much fun. I love to see all of the cousins together playing and visit with my brother and sister and enjoy there spouses. We had a great time. I made my yummy P.B cookies and we had sub sandwiches, and chips. It had snowed so much at there house we ended up having to have it in the house but the kids didn't mind at all! Thanks Andra for such a great time!

I love my family so much!

We tried to get a cousins picture, its hard :)

Funny Friday

A couple of days ago Rodney said to me, "Mom are you thinking what I'm thinking?" and I said, "I don't know what are you thinking?" and he said, " I don't know" I thought it was so funny that he said that when he is only 2.

Then today he asked me the same question and I decided to reply different and I said "Yes" and he said, "we're silly" I laughed so hard. He is such a sweet and funny little guy. I love him so much.

Emily learned how to say "cow" this week and when we ask her what does the cow say she says "Boo" I love it. She also learned how to say poo poo :)

I have a ton of blogging to do this weekend!
