Well Monday was the last show of Jonah and the Great fish. Karlee had a blast doing the play and filming the movie. What an amazing opportunity for her! She made a lot of new friends and was really sad that it was the last night! Thank you to our friends and family who came and supported her and for those that helped with babysitting the other 2 kiddos. We love and appreciate your kindness so much!

Karlees friend Jenasi came and brought her a flower that would never die:) Her cousin Elle brought her a chocolate rose and her friend Savannah was there and didn't even know Karlee was in the show. What a fun surprise.

We had a cast party after with pizza and cake. It was so fun!

Happy Valentines Day!!!!

Well this year for Valentines Day we decided to do it a little different. We decided not to buy anything for each other and instead to do acts of kindness for each other and our kids, cuz its a day of love :)

Well I made Matt breakfast in bed and he made us a heart shaped pizza, he made the bed, the kids made him coupons that said cute little things they would do for dad. It was a really great day. Also Grandma bought the girls the cutest hats and Rodney a transformer. Did I mention she cleaned my kitchen, the kids bathroom, and made Karlee's bed. Thank you so much Susan for helping us you are amazing!

What an amazing cast and an amazing opportunity for Karlee. Everyone has been so sweet to her thank you to our friends and family for your support. It means the world to her!

Super Bowl Party!

So we are not big sports fans. We like to watch a game here and there unless its live then we love to go. But we always have a big super bowl party for the kids. We love to celebrate with them. So I just made turkey and cheese sandwiches, with a cheese ball and chips and then Aunt Kirsten came over and brought 7 layer bean dip, m&ms and twix. We had so much fun.

Rodney and Emily were sweet and put lotion on both my feet and Kirstens.(There idea not ours) :) Karlee did both of our hair. I meant to get a picture but Kirstens got taken out. Rodney and Matt were on the blue team and Kirsten, Karlee and I were on the gold team. Emily however was on the purple team???

That night it was hard to get the kids to bed they were hyper. At 9:30 I went down to tell Rodney he needed to go to bed right now. I went down there frustrated, until I got to his door and heard him singing the 2ND article of faith. I smiled. How could you get mad at such a sweet boy?? So I told him, "I love your singing and I really want you to do it some more tomorrow but for now you need to go to sleep." I love my family they make me so happy.

Well there is good news and bad news. We went to go to the Dr and while were waiting in waiting area Emily fell off of the chair and was screaming, they ran out asking if she needed ice. She is fine thank goodness but then they took off the cast and said for the next 2 weeks she still needs to be really careful and they wrapped it back up. I was like hello morons she just fell in your office area she is 2 why didn't you just keep the cast on for 2 more weeks! So now its wrapped, so annoying!

Hey everybody, it's Matt!

I don't post too often on here but I thought I would write a quick note and share a couple photos. Karlee is up to her eyeballs in fame and stardom as she began filming of the movie production of Jonah and the Great Fish today. She is having tons of fun and while officially Steph is Karlee's Chauffeur, I think Steph is having fun too. This has given me a chance to hang out with Rodney and Emily more and its been tons of fun. Rodney is getting bigger and stronger everyday. Emily is full of sugar and sass! We wrestle around, sing our ABC's and watch Star Wars a lot (no complaints here!). I love my kids. I love my wife. I really am very blessed to have these sweet spirits in my life. Thank you to all of you who read this blog. That means that you are one of our loving family or one of our dear friends and we are grateful to each one of you and how you bless our lives.
